Data Center in Stockholm
In order to match the requirements of the market standards today, we at Portlane believes that a well-developed infrastructure is a must. For this reason, we have over time built and developed an infrastructure to cope with the demands we today are facing.
We are located in one of Sweden's most modern data center which lays deep in the bedrock where modernity meets function in an excellent manner. Along with that, we have also a well respected network which together with our clients complete our infrastructure.
Redundancy & Safety
To make our customers to feel secure with us, we have redundant Internet connections that allow our service to become very reliable. We also have redundancy in our power, UPS and cooling. For longer power cuts, we also use diesel generators to keep the power alive. Beyond that, the centre is safe from fire and flood. The centre is also video monitored around the clock and of course properly alerted.
Own backbone network
Your servers gets connected to a connection from 10Mbit/s up to 10Gbit/s directly in our own backbone network (AS42708), with very high capacity and good peering with not only all the national operators, but also throughout the world. The connection is, of course, hooked up with redundancy.
